Smart Money Scanner Methodology

How GridBotLab studies wallet selection, PnL methodology, quality score, wallet clustering, net flow, confluence, time windows and limitations.

Wallet selection

Wallets must come from GridBotLab-ranked public-chain analysis, manually verified public sources, or documented provider feeds. Unsupported influencer identity, exchange hot wallets, routers, bridges and LP contracts are excluded.

Wallet quality score

Quality combines realized PnL, ROI, win rate, trade count, active days, recent performance and penalties for one-hit-wonder behavior. Raw PnL alone is not enough.

Wallet relationship clustering

GridBotLab estimates walletClusterId from heuristic relationship signals such as funding links, identical timing, repeated token baskets and synchronized behavior. It is a heuristic, not a claim of definitive common ownership.

Confluence

The primary signal is several independent wallet clusters accumulating the same token in a compressed time window. Four clusters is meaningful; eight or more is exceptional.

Net flow

The scanner rewards positive buy minus sell flow and normalizes impact against liquidity or market cap when available, so gross buys do not score well if sells offset them.

Limitations

Provider outages, incomplete token metadata, unverified DEX routing, low-liquidity pools and delayed webhooks can all reduce signal quality. GridBotLab is analytics only and never executes trades.
